For those who don’t know, Faycc pronounces her name as Angel Face. She has been rapping since age 9 (if you count other rappers lyrics). By 14 she was writing her own music; sixteen years later her passion continues to shine.

Faycc acts behind most every aspect of her music and for her most recent single “Break It Off,” she decided to sew up a purple patent leather body suit for the video. This song idea was expanded on around 2018 when she connected with GP Productionz in California.

GP had been a rapper that Faycc had done a collaboration series with back in 2010 that she called “Friday Night Collabz”. As a producer, she was sick of having compelling melodies without an extensive sound library so she sent GP some midi files to play around with.

Sure enough, Faycc was pleased with what GP did— and there began the journey for the rest of the song-elements to come into play. After years of back-and-forth, the two finally completed the project in late 2020. Even with Faycc being in Maine, through file sharing they were also able to collaborate on the Break It Off video!
